PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus that reduces health damage to a patient during a puncture manipulation by fluoroscopy.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus 1 includes: a table top on which a subject is placed; an X-ray tube for applying X-rays around the table top; a detector for detecting the X-rays and outputting detection signals; reconstitution means for reconstituting a CT image on the basis of the detection signals; setting means for setting an imaging range on the basis of the positions of a puncture needle and a puncture target on the CT image; mechanism control means for controlling an X-ray irradiation range which is a range in which the X-ray is applied on the basis of the imaging range; and image display means for applying X-rays and outputting the detection signals on the basis of the X-rays whose X-ray irradiation range is controlled, and causing a display device to display the CT image which is reconstituted by the reconstitution means and is in the imaging range.
