<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a contrast improving sheet and an apparatus for manufacturing the contrast improving sheet that are capable of reducing streak defects and filling unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a contrast improving sheet, comprises: a filling step for continuously supplying a surface 2b of a light-transmitting part 2 with an ink composition 3, while moving the sheet-like light-transmitting part 2 including the surface 2b on which a plurality of grooves are formed in parallel; and filling the grooves with the ink composition 3 by scratching-off the ink composition 3 on the surface 2b of the light-transmitting part 2 with a scratching-off blade, while forming an ink pool 3a made up of the ink composition 3 on an upstream side of the scratching-off blade and adjacently thereto, the scratching-off blade being disposed on a downstream side beyond a supplying position of the ink composition 3. In the filling step, the ink composition 3 is collected by suctioning one portion of the ink pool 3a via a plurality of suction ports provided on an outer peripheral surface of a suction pipe 61 along a longitudinal direction C of the suction pipe 61, in a state where the suction pipe 61 is arranged in a manner such that the longitudinal direction C of the suction pipe 61 is equal to a width direction D of the light-transmitting part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
