FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to axial mixing. Mixing element is composed of impeller (1) made of sheet material with impeller blades (3) arranged radially about axis (A). Note here that said mixing element has at least one impeller blade with sharpened edge at outlet side (5). Proceeding from this and similar designs, this invention aims at decreasing the resistance to impeller revolution.
