FIELD: physics, optics.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre optics. The optical fibre core has a primary and a secondary layer laminated on an uncoated optical fibre. The primary layer is formed by curing a UV curable polymer composition containing a first silane binding agent which can be incorporated into the polymer skeleton. A second silane binding agent cannot be incorporated into the polymer skeleton. The first silane binding agent contains a radically polymerisable reactive group and a compound having one or more methoxyl groups.
