The present invention comprises the manufacture of compositions based on coconut nucifera L., best known as coconut and its use in the fishing and aquaculture field as bait for capturing aquatic organisms by means of traps. The compositions described in the present invention are presented in a solid form (pelletized or extruded) and in a semisolid form (gel), also presenting a high activity in fresh or estuarine water shellfish.
