Provided are: a coloring composition which can be used to obtain a cured film with outstanding heat resistance, and which does not undergo spectral variations when being developed; a cured film; a manufacturing method for color filter; a color filter; a solid state imaging element; and an image display device, all using the coloring composition. A coloring composition containing a curable compound and a dye polymer having a repeating unit represented by the general formula below; R1 and R3 independently represent aliphatic hydrocarbon groups, R2 and R4 independently represent aromatic hydrocarbon groups, R5 to R10 independently represent hydrogen atoms, halogen atoms, aliphatic hydrocarbon groups or aromatic hydrocarbon groups, R11 to R15 independently represent hydrogen atoms, halogen atoms, alkyl groups, aryl groups, carbonyl groups, nitro groups, amino groups, alkyl amino groups, aryl amino groups, or sulfonyl groups. |
