The present invention relates to a novel 2-phenylbenzofuran derivative, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, a manufacturing method thereof, and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases containing the same as an active ingredient wherein the novel 2-phenylbenzofuran derivatives or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof can be used for a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases by being excellent in inhibiting NO, IL-6, and TNF-alpha induced by macrophages.
