The closure device (1) has a swing-wing (2) and a frame (10) with a hinge-sided frame section, where a motor-driven drive unit is provided between the swing-wing and the frame for pivoting the swing-wing. A coupling element rotatable around a rotary axis (S) is arranged at a side of a cross-section (102) facing the swing-wing or at the side (22) of the swing-wing facing the cross-section. The coupling element is connected with a joining rod for being rotated to pivot the swing-wing around the rotary axis during the movement of a spindle nut.
