The present invention, as a method for functionalizing an edge of graphite with a fluorine group by putting with an outside atmosphere material containing a fluorine or a carbon fluoride compound after crushing a big segment of graphite to a small segment of graphite, is capable of manufacturing edge-functionalized graphite with a fluorine group, which is impossible with the conventional mechanochemical method, and capable of mass producing with the simple and economic manufacturing process.
