A morphologically adaptable apparatus for altering the charge distribution upon living membranes with functional stabilization of the membrane physical electrical integrity, the apparatus having a quadripolar, circular, center charged, energy balanced magnetic device in a four (4) magnet array of alternating polarity in which the magnetic poles are in multiple planes and are separated by a predetermined distance which provide an effective magnetic sphere of influence on all adjacent poles to suppress the firing of action potentials of mammalian sensory neurons. |

A morphologically adaptable apparatus for altering a charge distribution upon living membranes with functional stabilization of a membrane physical electrical integrity, the apparatus comprising: a quadripolar, magnetic device in a four magnet array of alternating polarity in which each magnet of the array has a magnetic pole and generates a magnetic field and at least one of: i) a non-conductive fluid flux return medium below the magnetic array and ii) a conductive fluid flux focusing medium above and around the magnetic array, wherein the magnetic poles are separated by a predetermined distance which will provide an effective a magnetic sphere of influence at a desired site of action from the magnetic fields of all adjacent poles, and wherein the magnet array is altered to focus the magnetic sphere of influence at different depths. |
