PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle rear structure realizing a novel design by making the appearance of a light source member when a lift gate is opened different from that when the lift gate is closed, and capable of suppressing damage to the light source member due to a slight collision using a shading member shading light so as not to leak light from the light source member into a luggage compartment when the lift gate is closed.SOLUTION: Tail lamps 9 are provided in respective edges (rear pillars 7) of a body opening 3, a lift gate 4 is disposed to cover the tail lamps 9 when the lift gate 4 is closed and has an aperture 45 formed therein so as to be able to transmit light from the tail lamps 9 backward, a shading member 16 is provided in the lift gate 4, and the shading member 16 is located between the lift gate 4 and the tail lamp 9 when the lift gate 4 is closed and includes ribs 16f to 16h absorbing a load when the load is input to a vehicle front side. |
