PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation method for combination performance of a ventilation fan and a muffler chamber that can support consideration of a combination of the ventilation fan and muffler chamber so as to design ventilation facilities capable of satisfying both an amount of noise reduction and a pressure loss value. ! SOLUTION: A database is used which includes: fan data on blast volume and generated sound in air blasting; chamber data in which sizes of the muffler chamber 1 including sizes of a blast intake 1a and a blast outlet 1b are set changeably at a predetermined pitch; shield plate-related data in which arrangement positions of a shield plate and shield area ratios of a blast path 1c at the arrangement positions are set changeably at a predetermined pitch; and performance value data on pressure loss values and amounts of noise reduction made to correspond to mutual combinations of the fan data, chamber data, and shield plate-related data.
