<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which includes a carriage having a recording head, a guide shaft which guides movement of the carriage, and a carriage motor which moves the carriage along the guide shaft and inhibits the recording speed from being deteriorated by temperature rise of the carriage motor.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a carriage 6 having a recording head 4; a guide shaft 7 which guides movement of the carriage 6; a carriage motor which moves the carriage 6 along the guide shaft 7; a temperature detection part which detects a temperature of the carriage motor; and an output part which outputs lubrication information for prompting lubrication to the guide shaft 7 on the basis of a detection temperature of the temperature detection part.</p> |
