PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device which can reduce an influence of light absorption caused by an adsorbent without reducing an adsorption effect of an adsorbent by causing the adsorbent to be contained in a component different from an encapsulation resin.SOLUTION: A light emitting device comprises: a substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements which are mounted on the substrate and each of which has a light emitting chip, an encapsulation resin for encapsulating the light emitting chip and a silver (Ag)-containing reflection film for reflecting light of the light emitting chip; a covering material for integrally covering the plurality of light emitting elements on the substrate; and an adsorbent for trapping a material which triggers a change in color of the silver (Ag), in which the adsorbent is contained in the covering material. |
