PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve protection of a pipeline in a packing material of an air conditioning unit where the pipeline protrudes from a first side surface that is a longitudinal side surface of a unit body having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, and to allow an operator to smoothly draw the packed air conditioning unit stacked at the upper tier side while inhibiting damage of the packing material.SOLUTION: A packing material (10) includes: a top surface protection member (20) which covers a top surface (2a) of a unit body (2); a bottom surface protection member (30) which covers a bottom surface (2b) of the unit body (2); and a side surface protection member (40) which covers a first side surface (2c) of the unit body (2) with a pipeline (6). The bottom surface protection member (30) includes a bottom surface tray (31) and a bottom surface shock-absorbing material (32). In the side surface protection member (40), a grip opening formation part (41a) is formed facing the side surface (2c) of the unit body (2) to form a grip opening part (11) for gripping first side surface (2c) side end parts of a bottom surface tray (31) and the bottom surface shock-absorbing material (32). |
