PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement high speed automatic setting of a LAG depending on a failure, in a relay system and a switch device.SOLUTION: A fabric switch (FS[1]), when having detected a failure in its own link, transmits a failure notification frame DF1a including a failure link identifier showing the failure, to a plurality of port switches (such as PS[2]). A fabric switch (such as FS[2]), when having received failure notification frames DF2a from a plurality of port switches, performs flooding on the frames. A port switch (PS[1]), when having detected a failure in its own link, transmits a second failure notification frame DF2a including a failure link identifier, to a plurality of fabric switches. A port switch (such as PS[2]), when having received failure notification frames in all of its own links, sets a LAG on the basis of a failure link identifier. |
