A heat pump cycle apparatus is provided with: a first heating expansion valve (15) for reducing the pressure of refrigerant that has flowed from an indoor condenser (12); a gas-liquid separator (16) for separating the gas and liquid of the refrigerant, the pressure of which was reduced by the first heating expansion valve (15); an intermediate-pressure fixed diaphragm (17) for reducing the pressure of the liquid-phase refrigerant that has flowed from the gas-liquid separator (16), and causing the refrigerant to flow out toward the inlet side of an outdoor heat exchanger (20); a bypass passage (14c) for causing the refrigerant that has flowed from the indoor condenser (12) to circumvent at least the first heating expansion valve (15), and guiding the refrigerant toward the inlet side of the outdoor heat exchanger (20); and a second heating expansion valve (19) disposed in the bypass passage (14c). Thus, by completely closing both the first heating expansion valve (15) and the second heating expansion valve (19) when the refrigerant is loaded, the refrigerant can be appropriately loaded even if charging ports (CP1, CP2) are provided in any of the refrigerant flow paths of the cycle. |
