PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for breeding pig and a feed, which reduces free phenylalanine concentration in meat.SOLUTION: There is provided the method for breeding pig, which reduces the free phenylalanine concentration in the meat by feeding low concentration phenylalanine feed for breeding for 2-7 days before shipment. The method allows the production of pork whose free phenylalanine concentration in the meat after aging is reduced. In addition, PhIP amount produced in the pork by heat cooking can be reduced, resulting in suppressing the occurrence of cancer which is caused by PhIP. |
