The present invention relates to such an electrical energy store having a bidirectional DC/DC converter with a low-voltage side and a high-voltage side which can be connected via the high-voltage side to a DC bus and which has a switching hysteresis with a charging and/or discharge curve, wherein power consumption and/or power output are/is dependent on a voltage on the high-voltage side.

An electrical energy store comprising: a plurality of cell stacks, each cell stack having a plurality of individual cells, and a plurality of bidirectional DC/DC converters, each of said plurality of bidirectional DC/DC converters having a low voltage side and a high voltage side, wherein a first cell stack and a second cell stack of said plurality of cell stacks are respectively connected to a first bidirectional DC/DC converter and a second bidirectional DC/DC converter, and the high voltage sides of the first bidirectional DC/DC converter and the second bidirectional DC/DC converter are connected to a DC bus and the first bidirectional DC/DC converter and the second bidirectional DC/DC converter have a switching hysteresis with a charging and/or discharging curve, power consumptions and/or power outputs which are dependent on a voltage on the high-voltage side of each of the first bidirectional DC/DC converter and the second bidirectional DC/DC converter.
