FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of adjustment of relative humidity in air path of the internal combustion engine system fitted with the low pressure exhaust gas recirculation system. The method of estimation of relative humidity in the suction branch pipe of the internal combustion engine fitted inlet pipeline connected to the suction branch pipe, the exhaust branch pipe and the EGR low pressure pipeline (LPE) which connects with a possibility of movement of fluid medium the exhaust branch pipe to the point of connection of the named suction branch pipe consists in that first the relative humidity in the exhaust branch pipe is calculated, depending on Oconcentration in the named exhaust branch pipe, the medium specific humidity is determined. Then the relative humidity is calculated in the section of the suction branch pipe between the named point of connection and the named inlet pipeline depending on the flow of the external air supplied into the named suction branch pipe, on the flow of exhaust gases supplied from the named EGR low pressure pipeline (LPE), specific humidity in the named exhaust branch pipe and medium specific humidity.
