PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet holding device which enables a long sheet to be easily placed while preventing position aberration so that the long sheet is fed straight into a sheet transfer device.SOLUTION: A sheet holding device 30 is provided on a side surface 35 of an image formation device 10. The sheet holding device 30 includes a manual tray 32 and an auxiliary tray 33. When a user sets long paper, the auxiliary tray 33 is attached to the manual tray 32. A fixture 56 provided at the auxiliary tray 33 restrains a side fence 46 of the manual tray 32 from moving to the outer side in a width direction 43. The auxiliary tray 33 includes a support plate 68 forming a passage 70 with a sheet holding surface 44. Further, an opening 66 serving as an opening part is formed at the rear side of the auxiliary tray 33. |
