<p>The invention relates to a device (1) for forming batches from flexible brick-type objects (20) containing a liquid, said objects circulating in alignment, in a row, and substantially adjacent to one another, said device including: a conveyor (2), designed to convey the objects (20) by friction along a conveying axis (4); a braking mechanism (5) designed to slow down at least one object (Cl) relative to the conveyor, said object being referred to as a batch starting object. Said mechanism is designed to release the objects preceding said batch starting object such that the former continue to be moved by the conveyor.
