PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid-cooled jacket being high in a degree of freedom of design.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a preparation process of butting a step difference side surface 14b and a sealing body side surface 3c of a sealing body 3 by placing the sealing body 3 in a step difference part 14 and a regular joining process of executing frictional agitation joining by making a round around the sealing body 3 while moving a regular joining rotary tool F along a butting part J1 formed by the preparation process, and the regular joining rotary tool F having an agitation pin F2 of a length dimension larger than a thickness dimension of the sealing body 3, is used in the regular joining process, and frictional agitation is executed in a state of contacting only the agitation pin F2 with a jacket body 2 and the sealing body 3. |
