A roller driving means that connects a gearbox 2 and an axle 6 via two gears 3 & 5 and a chain 4, a roller 7 located on the axle 6, one end supported on the axle by a shaft sleeve, the other end connected with the axle via a one-way clutch. The clutch may have a one-way seat 10 with spring-biased extension and contraction pins, the seat secured onto the axle via a transmission pin 9, and a separation & reunion wheel 11 with unidirectional inclined ratchets for engagement with said extension and contraction pins. There may be two rollers located on the axle near each other, symmetrical about the mid-point of the axle, each roller having its own separation & reunion wheel. The roller(s) may be provided with evenly spaced flutes extending along the axial direction. |
