<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor which is capable of sufficiently reducing intake noise. <P>SOLUTION: In an outboard motor 10, an engine 23 is overlaid with an engine cover 24, intake openings 26 are provided at both sides of the engine cover 24, and air sucked from the intake openings 26 to the engine cover 24 can be guided to a throttle body 42. In the outboard motor 10, a drain/interference type muffling means 75 which reduces intake noise is provided in the middle of an intake passage guiding air from the intake openings 26 to the throttle body 42. The drain/interference type muffling means 75 is provided longitudinally in the engine cover 24 and the inside of the drain/interference type muffling means 75 has a structure bisected in a longitudinal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
