<p>A vehicle power transmission device provided with a crank-type transmission unit (U) is further equipped with an output-side one-way clutch (55) that is positioned between an output-shaft main body section (12A) and an output-shaft downstream section (12B), and makes a withdrawal movement possible when the output-shaft main body section (12A) fails by becoming stuck. When a continuous-engagement-interval timing means (M1) times the continuous engagement interval since the output-side one-way clutch (55) was engaged, and a requested-drive-power detection means (M2) detects the drive power requested by a driver, an output-side-one-way-clutch forced engagement release means (M3) forcibly releases the engagement of the output-side one-way clutch (55) by reducing the eccentricity of the eccentric disc (18) of a continuously variable transmission (T) and reducing the number of rotations of the output-shaft main body section (12A), in the case that the continuous engagement interval has reached or exceeded a prescribed interval and the drive power requested by the driver has decreased; hence, it is possible to prevent a decline in durability caused by the continuous engagement of the output-side one-way clutch (55) for a long period of time.</p> |
