<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll cleaning device that, in a glass article transport roll such as a lift-out roll, can suppress performance deterioration of an elastic body pressing a removing member to the transport roll to obtain a high quality glass article.SOLUTION: A roll cleaning device 3 disposed inside a glass forming furnace 4 to remove a foreign matter R adhering to a transport roll 7 transporting a formed glass article G2 comprises: a removing member 9 that is installed inside the glass forming furnace 4 and abuts on a surface 7a of the transport roll 7 to remove the foreign matter R; an elastic member 10 that energizes the removing member 9 to the transport roll 7; and a rod member 11 that connects the removing member 9 and the elastic member 10 to each other. The elastic member 10 is installed outside the glass forming furnace 4. The rod member 11 is installed to penetrate a furnace wall 4a of the glass forming furnace 4.</p> |
