PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measurement apparatus in which blood pressure measurement is not stopped by a movement of a patient, etc., and which can continuously monitor blood pressure in a noninvasive manner.SOLUTION: A blood pressure measurement apparatus 10 for measuring blood pressure of a living body includes: a plurality of ultrasonic probes 1 that receive a signal for calculating a blood pressure value; a calculation section 2 for conducting calculation based on the signal received by one ultrasonic probe 1 of the plurality of ultrasonic probes 1; a blood pressure calculation section 3 for calculating a blood pressure value based on the result of the calculation by the calculation section 2; and a switching section 4 which, when reception of the signal by one ultrasonic probe 1 of the plurality of ultrasonic probes 1 is disabled, switches it to another ultrasonic probe 1 of the plurality of ultrasonic probes 1 for the reception of the signal. |
