<p>The device has a gripping unit (10) for a suspension lug (24), and a conveying device for conveying and suspending sausage at the suspension lug. An unloading unit unloads the sausage on a support rod. A control device prevents gripping of the individual sausage, where the sausage is arrived in an outlet of the device and not arrived in the conveying device. A blocking unit (44) is controlled by the control device, and blocks a receiver of the suspension lug of the sausage on the gripping unit in a blocking position. An independent claim is also included for a method for closing sausages with clips.</p> |
