<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a bed user even in a power failure state when an earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: A bed 100 includes: two first division boards 11 constituting the upper surface of a bed body 1, being plate-like members for supporting a user, divided in two in the width direction, and respectively rotatably journaled with shafts nearly in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the bed body 1 as rotational shafts; and an earthquake detection unit for detecting the occurrence of an earthquake. When the earthquake detection unit detects the occurrence of an earthquake, a state where the first division boards 11 are nearly horizontal and unrotatable is changed into a state where the first division boards 11 are rotatable.</p> |
