Fuel oil additive (I) comprises a copolymer of ethylene and 13-17 mol% of at least an acryl- or vinyl ester with 1-18C-alkyl residue and a melting viscosity V 1 4 0 of at most 80 mPas; and comb polymer containing structural units of at least a olefin as monomer 1, which carries at least 8-18C alkyl residue at the olefinic double bond and at least an ethylenically unsaturated dicarboxylic acid as monomer 2, which carries at least 8-16C alkyl residue bound over an amide- and/or imide group, where the parameter Q, calculated using the formula as given in specification, exhibits a value of 23-27. An independent claim is included for a fuel oil composition containing a vegetable or animal fuel oil and a fuel oil additive.
