<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can diagnose the abnormality of a motor for driving a performance member. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes a sensor for detecting the position of a movable member which moves to a game panel, the motor 521 which drives the movable member, a driving instructing section 326 which performs a driving instruction to the motor 521, a driving amount-detecting section 527 which detects the actual driving amount of the motor 521, and an abnormality diagnosing section 327 which diagnoses the abnormality of the motor 521. The driving instructing section 326 performs a second driving instruction for making the movable member move in a second direction until the sensor detects the movable member after performing a first driving instruction for making the movable member move in a first direction by a predetermined amount after the sensor has detected the position of the movable member. The abnormality diagnosing section 327 diagnoses the abnormality of the motor 521 based on: a first driving amount having been driven by the motor 521 in response to the first driving instruction; and a second driving amount having been driven by the motor 521 in response to the second driving instruction, wherein both driving amounts have been detected by the driving amount-detecting section 527. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
