<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a compact steering mechanism for steering a steering wheel.SOLUTION: As a steering-angle ratio characteristic representing a relation between a steering angle of a steering wheel and a turning angle of a turn-steering wheel, at least two characteristics, that is, a travel-time steering-angle ratio characteristic and a stop-time steering-angle ratio characteristic, are set. The stop-time steering-angle ratio characteristic is set at a steering-angle ratio characteristic associated with the travel-time steering-angle ratio characteristic until the steering angle reaches a threshold, and is set at a steering-angle ratio characteristic so that a steering-angle ratio increases when the steering angle exceeds the threshold.</p> |
