The invention relates to a device for interconnecting first and second networks, through which streams of critical data pass, wherein said data streams require that bandwidth be reserved in order to comply with speed and latency constraints, the interconnection device performing the following steps for each stream of critical data: measuring (409) an actual speed of said stream of critical data; verifying (410) whether said actual measured speed is greater than the sum of a previously reserved bandwidth and a tolerance bandwidth; verifying (410) whether said actual measured speed is lower than the previously reserved bandwidth, from which the sum of a margin bandwidth and a tolerance bandwidth is subtracted; and if the verification is positive, adjusting (411) the reserved bandwidth for said stream of critical data to a value equal to the sum of the actual measured speed for said stream of critical data and the margin bandwidth. |
