PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper, fitted to the physique of a wearer, including indexes for guiding a method of wearing the diaper and having a favorable external appearance. SOLUTION: A plurality of indexes for stopping a fastening tape 6 are labeled in a right region 7R and a left region 7L of a landing tape 7 respectively and include patterns extending in parallel to or obliquely in the width direction from one end side to the other end side of the width direction of the diaper 1 respectively. The plurality of indexes include first indexes 11 located inward the diaper 1 from a second virtual center line CL2 and second indexes 12 located outward the diaper 1 from the second virtual center line CL2. The first index 11 is so labeled that a tip 11a close to a first virtual center line CL1 of the pattern is inclined toward a first end portion 1a, and the second index 12 is so labeled that a tip end 12a close to the second virtual central line CL2 of the pattern is inclined toward a longitudinal edge 1bz of a second end portion 1b.
