<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that gives a high-quality image having a reduced number of image white spots by aggregates of silica fine particles on a glossy paper.SOLUTION: The toner includes toner particles comprising a binder resin, and silica fine particles (A) and silica fine particles (B) on the surfaces of the toner particles. The toner is obtained by fixing the silica fine particles (A) to the surfaces of the toner particles and then adding the silica fine particles (B). The silica fine particles (A) have a specified range of a number average particle diameter of the primary particles; and a coverage of the toner particle surface by the silica fine particles (A) having a specified range of particle diameters of the primary particles and fixed to the toner particle surface is 15% or more. The silica fine particles (B) have a specified range of a number average particle diameter of the primary particles, and have surfaces treated with silicone oil. In a grain size distribution of the silica fine particles (B) on a volume basis, measured after the particles are dispersed by use of an ultrasonic dispersing machine, a cumulative frequency of particles having a particle diameter of 1.0μm or more is 50% or less.</p> |
