<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a decrease in frame rate of a moving image and influence by auxiliary light for setting a photographing condition and information of a subject on the moving image when the auxiliary light is emitted while acquiring the moving image by one image pickup element.SOLUTION: An image pickup device comprises: a charge storage image pickup element which has a plurality of pixels arranged two-dimensionally and which can independently control reading cycle of a first row for a moving image and a second row different from the first row, for evaluation value calculation; first control means for controlling light emission of light emission means and second control means for controlling a storage time of the light emitting element, in which a photographing condition by the first row at the time of photography is set based on an image for the evaluation value calculation. The image pickup device causes the light emission means to emit light up to the next storage after a stop of storage for a moving image when photography for evaluation value calculation is performed by causing the emission means to emit light, and causes the second row to store charge in order to acquire the image for evaluation value calculation by causing the emission means to emit light up to the start of the next storage after the stop of storage for the moving image.</p> |
