PURPOSE:To obtain metallic pictures which can be developed with weak aq. treating solns. by which resist is not attacked by providing an undercoating layer having solubility or affinity with the aq. treating solns. provided on a substrate as well as vapor deposited metallic layers, etc. thereon. CONSTITUTION:A substrate, an undercoating resin layer having solubility of affinity with aq. treating solns. provided on the substrate, and a metallic layer or a metallic material layer vapor deposited on said undercoating layer are provided. Typical examples of the resin are PVA, polyethylene glycol, and gelatin in the case of treating with water treating solns., cellulose, polyvinyl pyrrolidone and their copolymers in the case of treatment with water or alkali aq. solns., and dimethyl(or diethyl)aminomethyl methacrylate copolymers having dialkylamino groups respectively o the side chains in the case of treatment with aq. acid solns. |
