PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a member useful for preventing edible oil degradation in a process having simplicity, economical efficiency and safety.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of an edible oil degradation preventing member includes: (1) a process of forming titanium nitride on a surface of a metal titanium material or a titanium alloy material by one type of treatment method selected from a group consisting of heating treatment under ammonia gas atmosphere with heating temperature at 750°C or higher and heating treatment under nitrogen gas atmosphere; (2) a process of performing anodic oxidation to the metal titanium material or the titanium alloy material on the surface of which titanium nitride is formed, which is obtained in the process (1), by applying voltage of 10 V or higher in electrolytic solution having no etching effect titanium to form oxide film of titanium; and (3) a process of performing heating treatment to the metal titanium material or the titanium alloy material on the surface of which the oxide film of titanium is formed, which is obtained in the process (2), under atmosphere selected from air atmosphere, atmosphere in which oxygen gas and nitrogen gas are mixed, or oxygen gas atmosphere at the temperature of 400°C or higher. |
