The purpose of the present invention is to provide a light source with high luminous efficiency and a display device using the same. Also, the purpose of the present invention is to provide the light source and the display device using the same, capable of controlling the location of an emission part of light. The display device according to the present invention includes a pair of reflection layers which are arranged to face each other and function as an anode and a cathode of a light emitting layer, the light emitting layer which is sandwiched between the pair of reflection layers and is formed in a pixel of a display region, and a transparent conductive layer which is in contact with the light emitting layer and is arranged to overlap an opening part on a planar view. The opening part in which a color filter with a pigment layer is arranged is formed on one side of the pair of reflection layers. |
