SAPPHIRE PANEL AND PORTABLE TERMINAL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sapphire panel with excellent vibration characteristics, and also to provide a portable terminal using the sapphire panel.SOLUTION: A portable terminal includes: a case part internally having electronic components; a sapphire panel attached to the case part and having the thickness of 0.5 mm or less; and a vibration element for vibrating the sapphire panel. The portable terminal is the portable terminal having a telephone call function. When a user allows the sapphire panel to be brought into contact with his/her ear in making a telephone call with a communication partner, the sapphire panel is vibrated in order to confirm voice from the communication partner.
