<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve for ensuring the transfer to a lock state, in the case where an internal combustion engine is stopped, and the transfer to the lock state, in the case where the lock mechanism is not in the lock state at the starting time of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: The spool 50 of a control valve CV is so constituted that it can be freely operated to: a phase control position, at which the supply and discharge of a fluid to an advance angle port 40A and a delay angle port 40B are controlled in the state to supply the fluid to a lock release port 40L; and a lock transfer position PA1 for controlling the supply and discharge of the fluid to the advance angle port 40A and the delay angle port 40B in the state to discharge the fluid from the lock release port 40L. There is formed a communication passage W for discharging a portion of the fluid from a pump port 40P to drain ports 40DB and 40DA, in the case where the spool 50 is operated to the lock transfer position.</p> |
