PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an indoor unit for an air conditioner which improves comfort of users whose temperature differs according to an attribute (gender), without requiring an operation of a remote controller and the like.SOLUTION: A control device 70 of an indoor unit 100, while a human face imaged by an imaging device 50 is in recognition time, when the person is standing still facing the imaging device 50, recognizes that the person desires that air is blown toward him/her, and at the same time, determines an attribute of the person. When currently a cooling operation is being performed or an operation mode is a cooling operation which has been set at the time of previous operation stop, when the person is a woman, the control device sets rotational frequency of a blower to be smaller than the rotational frequency which is set for a man, and by rotating the blower at the set rotational frequency, air is blown toward the person or a position where the person exists. |
