1. A method for notifying subscriber devices connected to a subscriber local area network in ISP networks, the method comprising:
receiving at least a notification request from an ISP network interface, the, at least one, notification request comprising a notification content and an identity of at least one destination subscriber device, further comprising: analysing traffic from the subscriber local area network to discover subscriber devices and identify notification mechanisms of subscriber devices connected to a subscriber local area network, storing a contact address of each discovered subscriber device and the identified notification mechanisms for each the subscriber device; verifying using the identity of the destination subscriber device the contact address of the destination subscriber device and whether there are available notification mechanisms for the destination subscriber device, if the contact address of the destination subscriber device is verified successfully and there are available notification mechanisms for the destination subscriber device, selecting at least one notification mechanism from the available notification mechanisms and sending the notification content to the contact address of the destination subscriber device using the selected notification mechanism; sending a response indicating a state of the notification request to the ISP network interface.
