Provided is a support structure for a fuel tank, used for installation, in a vertical state within a ship's hull, of a fuel tank for storing fuel used by the ship to sail, wherein the structure is provided with a vertical fuel tank, a lower part support structure for supporting a tank lower part of the fuel tank, and an upper part support structure for supporting a tank upper part of the fuel tank. The lower part support structure is constituted so as to support the load in the vertical direction acting on the fuel tank, as well as the load in the ship widthwise direction and the ship lengthwise direction acting on the fuel tank, due to rocking of the hull, and the upper part support structure is constituted so as to support the load in the ship widthwise direction and the ship lengthwise direction acting on the fuel tank due to rocking of the hull. |
