This vehicle opening/closing body drive control device is provided with: a motor which drives closing action of an opening/closing body which is configured to open and close an opening formed in the body of the vehicle and which has a weather strip mounted between said opening/closing body and the opening; a load detection unit which detects the load during the closing action of the opening/closing body; a caught object detection unit which compares the load detected by the load detection unit with a threshold value to detect caught foreign objects; an open time detection unit which detects the time interval that the opening/closing body has been in an open state; and a correction unit which corrects the threshold value such that the sensitivity of detecting caught foreign object by the caught object detection unit is higher when the open time detected by the open time detection unit is shorter than when the open time is longer.
