A scanning method for manufacturing a three-dimensional object layer by layer, comprising the steps of: (1) according to a thin-wall threshold value and the gap width of the contour of each layer of cross-section in an X and/or Y direction of a three-dimensional object to be manufactured, dividing a spread layer area to be scanned into a thin-wall area and a non-thin-wall area; and (2) according to the thin-wall area and the non-thin-wall thin wall area, conducting area-specific scans, selecting a first photon beam power or a first particle beam power and a first spot diameter size when the non-thin wall area is scanned, and selecting a second photon beam power or a second particle beam power and a second spot diameter size when the thin wall area is scanned. The method achieves optimal balance of efficiency and accuracy in the process of layer-by-layer manufacturing of a three-dimensional object, not only ensuring the efficiency, but also ensuring the accuracy and surface quality of parts manufactured. |
