<p>The invention relates to transmissions for vehicles. A 6-speed automatic transmission has two couplings with drives on two concentrically-positioned primary shafts, connected by means of constant mesh gears to two secondary shafts. Installed on the shafts are freely-rotating gears of even and odd transmissions and, connected to the shafts, corresponding splined carriages of the even and odd transmissions. Freely-rotating gears of the secondary shafts are meshed with rigidly affixed gears of an intermediate shaft, from which intermediate shaft rotation is transferred to a differential of a pair of wheels. Electromagnetic brake clutches are installed on the secondary shafts and on the intermediate shaft, said clutches forming, along with the two couplings, a synchronization system for aligning the rotation speeds of the clutches and the gears. Achieved are compactness and a simplified design.</p> |
