<p>The invention relates to a slide damper (10) to be connected to a pipe of a system for extracting a stream of fluid, said damper comprising: a support frame (11) provided with an opening (12) to be substantially sealingly connected to the pipe, a flap (14) movably mounted on the support from (11) so as to be movable (17) between a closed position and an open position in which the opening (12) is unblocked, a means (17) for controlling and moving the flap (14), characterized in that the support frame is provided with a slide system (42) consisting of two metal plates (25, 26) forming a recess within which the flap (14) is movably mounted, and ensuring that the flap is supported and guided relative to the support frame (11) with a degree of play that is sufficient for ensuring that the flap (14) slides within said slide system (42) between the open and closed positions of the opening (12), the flap (14) ensuring that the opening (12) is tightly closed.
