PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain type continuously variable transmission capable of easily assembling a chain guide with a restriction member for the chain guide.SOLUTION: A chain type continuously variable transmission includes: a chain guide 30 including a restriction part 30b restricting a movement of a power transmission chain 20 in a direction orthogonal to a rotational direction of the power transmission chain 20, and an annular part 30a formed integrally with the restriction part 30b and surrounding the power transmission chain 20; a chain guide support shaft 32 provided between a transmission case 22 and a side cover 24 and rotatably supporting the chain guide 30; a first position restriction member 34 that can abut on a first surface 30a1 of the annular part 30a; and a second position restriction member 36 that can abut on a second surface 30a2 of the annular part 30a. |
